Each Patina piece is handmade with care and attention to detail. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 5-7 business days unless otherwise noted in the product listing.

We offer standard shipping rates, which are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. Please note that shipping times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, holidays, weather, or other circumstances outside of our control.

For international orders, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, or other fees imposed by their country. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Patina is not responsible for packages that are delayed, lost, stolen, or held by customs once they have been shipped. Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and secure.

Materials & Craftsmanship

It's a refillable leather cover with a distinctive curved-edge silhouette, designed to hold a notebook insert securely with an elastic cord closure. Think of it as a "traveler's notebook" style cover — made to last for years, holding fresh inserts as you fill them.

100% genuine cowhide leather. Every cover is hand-cut, hand-assembled, and hand-finished by me in Los Angeles.

Very close, but not identical. Genuine leather is a natural material, so slight variations in grain, texture, and color are normal and expected. These small imperfections are part of what makes each piece one of a kind, not a flaw.

I use a softer leather for a relaxed feel, and some colors and cuts naturally have a bit more drape than others. This is intentional and part of the leather's character.

Please allow standard processing time (3-7 business days) before shipment, since every piece is made or finished to order.

Due to the handmade and custom nature of the items all sales are final.

Returns & Care

Due to the handmade nature of these items, returns/exchanges are not accepted.

Genuine leather ages beautifully with time, developing a natural patina. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and moisture exposure. A leather conditioner can be used occasionally to keep the leather supple, especially in drier climates.
